A new bulk carrier vessel joined FESCO fleet
FESCO Transportation Group confirms it has added a new vessel to its fleet - the bulk carrier 'FESCO ULISS'. The vessel began its first voyage. 'FESCO ULISS' carries wind power station equipment from China to the Kopmanholmen harbor in Sweden.

'FESCO ULISS' is a multipurpose vessel which can hold containers among other items. It is fitted with new equipment and is fitted with a top quality automation system. Its ice class meets the requirements authorizing service in Arctic waters. The length of the vessel is 138 metres, the width is 21 metres. The crew is composed of 14 men and the name of the captain is Oleg Ivanov.
The name of the vessel was taken from a bay on the southern coast of the Muravyov-Amursky peninsula (Primorye Territory).
FESCO has slowly initiated a fleet modernization programme, with two container ships 'FESCO Moneron' and 'FESCO Magadan' joining the Group's fleet at the end of last year.
