The ceremony began with the Order of Respect, the Anthem of Independence, followed by a prayer and ribbon cutting. Başaran flagship was launched with the attendance of guests and workers.

Çeksan Shipyard Operations Manager Cihan Bayrak pointed out that the construction processes of two ships to be used in their own fleets are still continuing.  “Our chemical tankers are 117.9 meters long and 17 meters wide. We expect to put the first of the existing ships into service in June or July of 2022, and the other in February or March, 2023. The total investment cost of the ships is about $ 30 million" said Bayrak.
