Bulgarian Navy starts annual Black Sea 4-day exercise
The Bulgarian Navy began its four-day annual exercise on June 8, Black Sea 2020, the Ministry of Defence said.

The exercise includes more than 20 warships and support vessels, fighter jets for the Bulgarian Air Force, and helicopters for the Navy, the statement said.
“The aim is to improve the capabilities of the command and headquarters of the flotilla, as well as its subordinate formations, to plan and conduct tactical actions in the framework of their participation in a naval security operation,” the Defence Ministry said.
The commander of the organizational role is Admiral Velko Velkov, commander of the flotilla of warships and auxiliary ships and the director of the exercise is Captain First Rank Vanyo Musinski, deputy commander of the flotilla.
