Crystal Endeavor starts sea trials
The new Crystal Endeavor has set sail for a series of sea trials for the ultra-luxury brand.
Crystal will enter the six-star luxury adventure market with the new ship, which will debut later this year. Crystal has promised the most luxurious suites in expedition cruising, complete with private verandahs and butler service.
King-sized beds, walk-in closets, heated storage for drying parkas, and spa-like bathrooms with heated floors, dual vanities, anti-fog mirrors, and rain-showerheads are among the facilities.
Ambient lighting, digital streaming TVs, and bedside iPads in every suite provide voyage information as well as a variety of international daily newspapers.
Two Crystal Penthouse Suites (985 sq. ft. to 1,130 sq. ft.), eight Penthouse Suites (457 sq. ft.), and 90 Deluxe Suites will be among the 100 suites (304 sq. ft.). The larger of the two Crystal Penthouse Suites has a two-bedroom layout, while the other one-bedroom arrangement has an adjoining entrance and connects to an adjacent Deluxe Suite.
For in-suite dining from either of Crystal Endeavor's Michelin-level eateries, both offer dedicated dining areas and butler's prep rooms. Separate sleeping and seating quarters, private verandahs, and desk vanity areas are available in the Penthouse Suites and Deluxe Suites.
