The charter will begin on March 7 and run until between October 15 and December 15, 2021, at a regular gross charter rate of $16,500. The rate is a major improvement over the previous charterer, Phaethon International Corporation, that was paying $10,800 per day.

Based on the minimum time charter period, Diana Shipping, which has a fleet of 37 bulkers, predicts that the charter will produce about $3.6 million.
