Vard, a Fincantieri subsidiary and one of the world's leading shipbuilders of specialized vessels, has delivered the second exploration cruise ship, "Coral Geographer," to Coral Expeditions of Australia.
A+A-
“Coral Geographer” was planned especially for private expedition cruises to Asia and Oceania's most remote and exotic locations.
The ship, which was designed at the Vard Vung Tau shipyard in Vietnam, is 93.7 meters long and can carry 120 passengers.
The onboard atmosphere is finished to a high standard of comfort, with staterooms having generous open balconies occupying over half of the total vessel area, in keeping with Coral Expeditions' product requirements in the Australian market. At the end of March, she will embark on her maiden voyage from Cairns, Queensland.
Vard delivered the first unit of the class, "Coral Adventurer," in 2019 as part of the company's fleet expansion programme.
