The agreements, which cover two NYK LNG carrier vessels' Wärtsilä 50DF dual-fuel engines and other facilities, are designed to ensure optimum maintenance through the use of digital technologies.

Wärtsilä's Expert Insight, a predictive entertainment product, is also included. To control equipment and devices in real time, the product uses artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced diagnostics.

The technical assistance provided by Wärtsilä, as well as the use of the company's digital technologies, will improve the ships' operational efficiency and allow for effective budgeting of long-term maintenance costs.
