Germany warns Turkey about Mediterranean drilling
Warning comes after Ankara announced plans to conduct a seismic survey south and east of Kastellorizo, Greek island.

Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu said last week that Turkey will start seismic exploration and drilling operations in contested waters protected by an agreement between Ankara and the internationally recognized government of Libya.
"Regarding Turkey's drilling in the eastern Mediterranean, we have a very clear position - international law must be respected so progress in EU-Turkey relations is only possible if Ankara stops provocations in the eastern Mediterranean," German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said said during a visit to Athens.
