The main themes of the international conference will be "De-Carbonization in the Maritime Sector" and "Effects of the Pandemic on Maritime Education and Sea Transportation". In addition, scientific research on technological approaches in shipping, human factor, innovative designs and inventions, cybersecurity at sea, new marine fuels and efficiency, shipbuilding, logistics and maritime trade, and legal, port operations, digital approaches to marine transportation management will be presented.

As a result of the evaluations to be made by the academic board among the papers presented at the conference, the papers that are worthy of publication academically will be published in full text in the Journal of ETA Maritime Science (JEMS) journal published by the TMMOB Chamber of Ship Machinery Management Engineers, which is entitled to take part in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), the scientific citation index under "Web of Science (WOS)" published by Clarivate Analytics.
