Late Thursday, the UN organization said on social media that its teams offered urgent assistance to the migrants who were brought to Tripoli, the Libyan capital. It is reported that there are women and children among the migrants.
Libya has been a key point in recent years for illegal African migrants trying to get to Europe to escape poverty and violence within their countries.
