Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard announced short-time operation
Nizhny Novgorod, Russia-based Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard launched short-term operations between 6 April and 30 April 2020 to ensure its staff's health and epidemiological protection.
The Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard is scheduled to operate during the non-working days declared by the Russian President's Executive Order of 2 April 2020 "On Measures to Ensure Population Sanitary and Epidemiological Protection in Connection with the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19)" and during the high warning period imposed by the Nizhny Novgorod Governor's Order of 13 March 2020.
In this time a small number of workers will be employed. Excluded are people 65 years of age and older, others at greater risk due to certain diseases or pregnancy.
Regular temperature measurements, distribution and monitoring of the use of face masks, gloves and hand sanitizers, as well as compliance with the 1.5-meter social distance rule, are among the steps undertaken by the organization.
Business trips are canceled except for the most important ones. Contact surfaces should be routinely disinfected at all facilities at the end of the working day.
Labor remuneration will be dependent upon the current remuneration conditions of the organization.
