KSS Line adds another VLGC order at Hyundai Heavy
South Korean shipping company KSS Line has signed an agreement with Hyundai Heavy Industries for the construction of another 84,000 cu m VLGC.

The price for the latest VLGC ship is $77.9m according to shipbroking sources, slightly higher than the price of $76m for the same series of ships ordered at the yard last year. All the ships in the series will be fitted with scrubbers.
South Korean shipping company KSS Line currently has a fleet of 29 vessels made up of 18 LPG carriers, 7 chemical tankers and four LNG carriers.
"In 2021, when five new VLGCs, including the new vessels, are delivered, sales are expected to exceed KRW 300 billion and continue to grow," the company stated.
