Maersk Supply Service gets subsea removal task from Fairfield
Maersk Supply Service has received a contract from Fairfield Betula Limited to withdraw subsea conductors and guidance frames from the Dunlin Alpha network.

“This is a technically challenging scope with large periods of time spent alongside a platform. It is gratifying to see our engineered technical solution selected by Fairfield, as the removal of older conductors that cannot be pulled through topsides remains a challenge throughout the North Sea,” said Olivier Trouvé, head of Integrated Solutions.
Maersk Supply Service will use an I-class vessel to install four 30 "jacket-mounted drilling conductors and two associated conductive guide sets.
This year, project management and planning starts, with offshore implementation scheduled for 2022 or 2023 based on the choice selected.
