The training follows a previous iteration that took place in June and focused on improving interoperability between the three navies in mine hunting and communication.
Ships involved in mine countermeasures included the RSNF Al-Shaqra (MCMV 422), HMS Brockelsby (M 33) of the UK Royal Navy, and the US USS Navy Dextrous (MCM 13). Aerial mine hunting support was supported by an MH-53E Sea Dragon attached to Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 15.
The RSNF Mine Warfare Center, in addition to these forces at sea, provided command and control from the King Abdulaziz Naval Base in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
