Working closely with customer TechnipFMC, the project scope included supplying the vessel and shore equipment with qualified personnel to mount the pull wires at Energean Karish and running a powerful 550Te linear winch.
“The unprecedented Covid-19 situation presented significant challenges given the travel restrictions in place, but our in-house project management and offshore teams worked effectively with the client and managed to come through and overcome them," The company’s chief executive officer, George Fisher stated.
“The shore pull was completed successfully on time with no accidents or incidents and zero breakdown of equipment. This was an incredible achievement for all parties concerned taking into account the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic at the time,” said Gavin Stephen, project manager – TechnipFMC.
