The Community of Antikythera demographically is one of the smallest in the Greek territory as the permanent residents are only 45. Placing between Kythira and Crete, Antikythira does not belong to any island group

If you decide to move to this  island, you'll receive housing, land, and an allowance of 500 euros a month for the next three years (which adds up to a little over $20,000) from the local Greek Orthodox Church. The goal of this program is to stimulate the local economy and bring new life to the island.  The island is a perfect getaway for peace seekers.  The local hostel is also available for visitors to Antikythera.
