A usage analysis was carried out by SRO Solutions and additional licenses were transacted to Belfast Harbour, more than doubling the number of on-site Maximo licences used.
The company's consultants will assist Belfast Harbour in the coming months to extend its use of the platform to deliver greater efficiencies.
In 2018, SRO, which helped lead the expansion of IBM into the maritime and offshore sectors, began working with Belfast Harbour, introducing Maximo to store information about the properties of the port and handle its equipment maintenance.
It is said that digital solutions lead to the strategic objectives of Belfast Harbour of achieving net zero carbon emissions before 2030. The port aims to help promote a circular economy and enhance air quality with the help of digital innovation.
