Following the company 's pause in activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Imagination is the third Carnival Fantasy-class vessel to be withdrawn.
Turkey's ship-breaking yard also became a home for the Carnival Fantasy, Carnival Inspiration, Pullmantur Sovereign and Pullmantur Sovereign. More cruise ships are planned to follow.
Constructed at Kværner Masa-Yards in Helsinki, Finland, The Imagination was launched into service in 1995.
