Nine vessels are filled with inventions, the result of a long partnership between the R&D experts at CMA CGM and the industrial partners. These vessels feature state-of-the-art technologies, with a cockpit featuring the latest onboard digital technology to assist the captain and crew, especially during port maneuvers; or a straight bow with integrated bulb, rudder and propeller with a redefined design that improves their hydrodynamics, thereby reducing energy consumption.
These 9 vessels bear a specific mark "LNG Powered" that will be visible across the globe on all seas.
The CMA CGM CHAMPS ELYSEES will be registered with the French Foreign Registry (FIR) along with its 8 23 000 TEU sister ships (twenty-foot equivalent unit), including the CMA CGM JACQUES SAADE. They will carry the names of Parisian landmarks and other prestigious venues and institutions from all over the French capital.
