The two new ships of the company, the Bolette and the Borealis, will take over the current routes for the Boudicca and Black Watch and, alongside Braemar, will be taken back to the waters in March and April 2021.
The Bolette and the Borealis are the former Amsterdam and Rotterdam lines recently acquired from Holland America Line. The Boudicca and Black Watch are going to be retired.
The return to the Balmoral water date will be confirmed in the coming weeks, with plans to have this ship sailing first.
Cruises for the Boudicca and the Black Watch will remain on sale on the Fred Olsen website until the launch of the two new ships, with the Bolette taking over the current routes for the Boudicca and the Borealis taking over the Black Watch routes.
All guests who book onboard either the Boudicca or the Black Watch will have their cruise transferred automatically to the new ships.
The two new ships are expected to join the rest of the fleet at Babcock's Rosyth Facilities in Scotland at the beginning of September.
