The contracts include projects in the Zuluf, Ribyan and Abu Safah oil fields, offshore Saudi Arabia, with Saudi Aramco under a long-term deal. The scope of work includes the engineering, sourcing, production, transport & installation and pre-commissioning of jackets on the three oil fields for three new wellhead platforms.
The company has also won a contract with PTTEP Sarawak Oil for the construction of wellhead platforms and pipelines and the removal of wellhead platforms for Chevron in Thailand, a contract for the transport and installation of offshore pipelines, as well as a subcontract for the transport and installation of a wellhead jacket and topside platform at the Kasawari Gas Development Project.
The drilling arm of Sapura Energy has also won a contract extension from Shell in Brunei for the Sapura Pelaut semi-submersible tender-assisted drilling rig. The extension is for 145 days, starting in April 2021.
