“It is our great pleasure to issue the AIP certificate to MARIC and we appreciate the trust from MARIC. RINA will keep providing support to MARIC to maintain the long term and high efficiency cooperation with MARIC for further development,” stated RINA.
Two four-stroke dual-fuel engines and an electric power demand arrangement system are featured on the vessel's revolutionary propulsion system.
The vessel's Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) is 41.1 percent below the IMO reference line, according to MARIC.
According to the ship's developer, the design reduces gangests from three to one collection, and the ship has maximum versatility to cope with any potential zero-carbon fuel.
SDARI will focus on ship model creation and design under the agreement, while RINA will ensure compliance with all relevant laws, including those regulating the use of alternative fuels.
