As Princess Cruises continues to prepare and improve its plans to comply with the "Framework for Conditional Sailing Order" issued by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the company is extending its pause of guest cruise vacations on ships sailing through May 14, 2021 in addition to the uncertainty regarding travel restrictions.
A refundable Future Cruise Credit equivalent to 100 percent of the cruise fare paid plus an additional FCC bonus equal to 25 percent of the cruise fare paid will be available to guests booked on these cancelled voyages.
No action is taken by the guest or their travel advisor to obtain the above listed FCCs. Any cruises booked by May 1, 2022 and sailing by December 31, 2022 will use the FCCs.
"We appreciate the patience from our loyal guests and travel advisors as we work to meet the health and safety requirements for our return to service," commented Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises.
In appreciation of the important role they play in the business and growth of the cruise line, Princess will protect the travel advisory commission on bookings for canceled cruises that were paid in full.
Princess Cruises has previously paused global guest cruise holidays and cancelled all departures until March 31, 2021 on all ships.
