During the May to September 2022 season, Diamond Princess offers 35 departures on sale on Dec. 15, 2020, with 31 destinations, four countries and 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Cruises vary from five days to 19 days.
The ship provides English-speaking guides and shore excursions aimed at different markets, so that visitors can experience all of the amazing sights and local culture.
There are nine opportunities to attend local festivals, visitors can experience some of Japan's world-famous festivals such as the Kyoto Gion Festival featuring huge hand-crafted Yama and Hoko floats created every year without the use of nails, or watch a show during the Kumano Fireworks Festival of 10,000 fireworks. The Osaka Tenjin Festival, the Aomori Nebuta Festival, the Akita Kanto Festival, the Kochi Yosakoi Dance Festival and the Tokushima Awa Dance Festival are other featured festivals.
