The Swiss cruise line has also reaffirmed its program of March – November 2021, which will include two new ships under construction and a series of new or enriched itineraries and homeports, including a new home for MSC Divina in Port Canaveral, Central Florida.
“While today we have taken the difficult decision to further extend the halt of operations of all our ships, it is important that we also look ahead as we know that our customers are dreaming of travel and are wanting to plan their holidays for next year. For this reason, we have now also confirmed our March – November program for 2021,” stated Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises.
The MSC Meraviglia will provide seven-night cruises departing every Saturday from Miami , Florida, while the classic and fun MSC Armonia will offer new three- and four-night getaway cruises, both from Miami, leaving on Mondays and Fridays and calling at the Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
The MSC Divina will sail from Port Canaveral, Florida for the first time, and deliver a combination of three-, four- and seven-night cruises on Sundays and Thursdays.
For the first time in Summer 2021, MSC 's three Seaside-class ships will all be stationed together in the Western Mediterranean.
Owing to the delay caused by the temporary closing of the shipyard as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the MSC Seashore will now enter operation on August 1, 2021, and MSC Fantasia will temporarily cover its route for this time.
She will be joined by sister ships MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview in their Genoa homeport and will operate seven-night cruises. The cruise company will also turn back to Tunisia in August when MSC Fantasia carries out seven-night cruises from Genoa calling at Marseille, Barcelona, La Goulette harbor in Tunis, Palermo and Civitavecchia.
New for the summer of 2021, MSC Lirica will be deployed from Venice , Italy and will also offer boarding to the northern Italian port of Trieste with a stunning itinerary in Croatia called Zadar, Dubrovnik and Split; Kotor, Montenegro and Corfu.
