Volga Shipping Company delivered a project cargo to the Caspian Sea

Volga Shipping Company completed the project to supply equipment to the construction site of a major petrochemical complex in Kazakhstan by river-sea vessels going.

Delivery started in early April with the start of navigation on Russia's Southern Federal District's inland waterways.

The project RSD49 (built in 2012-2013) included six Neva-Leader vessels to transport equipment from the Bulgarian port of Varna to the port of Bautino on the Caspian Sea.

Verage ship load was approximately 360 tons with a total project load weight of approximately 3,000 tons.

Late June, the supply of equipment to construct the petrochemical complex on the Caspian Sea was completed by Volga Shipping Company vessels.

The Volga Shipping Company was established in 1843 and incorporated in 1999, and is Russia's oldest shipping company.

Volga Shipping Company's range of services includes: transport of dry bulk, general, liquid bulk, and project cargo along Russia's inland waterways by river-sea and foreign routes.

The company's operating fleet numbers 236 units with a gross deadweight approaching 1.4 million tonnes.
