The three partners are planning to build a smart port test bed that uses 5G-powered services.
To monitor and analyze the movement of cargo and staff, the smart port will use IoT devices. The 5G infrastructure, including 5G connectivity modules, will be introduced by SK Telecom and its partners to link IoT devices to the test bed and help develop port logistics based on the SK Telecom 5G network.
SK Telecom also states that its IoT position sensing technology and closed circuit TVs will be used by the test bed facilities to analyze motion footage.
