The contract was estimated at 232,1 billion KRW (around 207 million dollars). According to the shipbuilder, the new buildings are scheduled for completion by the end of Q1 2023.
SHI has been winning orders for five vessels since the start of 2021. These include four containerships and one LNG carrier, accounting for 8% of the company's $78 billion 2021 order goal.
