Typhoon Faxai hits Tokyo, causing chaos which includes several maritime accidents

Faxai is one of the strongest typhoons with winds of up to 210km/h to hit tokyo in a decade. Tokyo area that has a population of 36 million has affected badly.
The weather agency had warned that central and eastern Japan, including Tokyo, could see record winds. This situation is forcing airlines to cancel a number of flights and some major roads to be closed. Kanagawa city lost power at one stage, and authorities warned against going outside.
Authorities announced that two cargo ships has collided off Kawasaki. Floating Dock broke off her moorings and drifted onto Yokohama Bay Bridge, Yokohama, officers reported. Passenger ferry named SHUTTLE sank in Yokohama, it has reported that there were no one onboard.
