Ukraine announced their project on Black Sea and Baltic Sea
Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk announced that government is currently working on a project to unite the waterways from the Black Sea to the Baltic Sea
Ukranian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk made an important speech in the 16th Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meeting. He stated that Ukranian government is currently considering a project which will unite the waterways from the Black Sea to the Baltic Sea.
"We also have a couple of very ambitious infrastructure projects that we have already started to discuss. We need to try to link by water, for example, the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea. This is absolutely real. There are forty waterways that need to be negotiated with Belarus and Poland. We need to build a constructive relationship to reach this goal and we have already started to do that" he explained.
The Prime Minister also stated that the Government is ready to move beyond the boundaries the country existed before and try to consider new opportunities that will allow Ukraine to become stronger.
