UZMAR unveils new Turkish fire fighting boats
New Turkish firefighting boats were unveiled for the first time at the Milipol 2021 Exhibition in Doha, Qatar, on Monday.
UZMAR, a leading Turkish shipyard, designed the new 24-meter long Aluminum High-Speed Fire Fighting Boat in response to the Qatari Coast Guard's recent requests to boost its firefighting capability.
Ranger J-2400 Fireboat was developed in collaboration with Canada's most experienced fireboat builder, Robert Allan, to provide quick emergency response, search and rescue, firefighting, and diving operations in the Gulf Region.
UZMAR is investing in local presence in line with Vision 2030, and has already signed an agreement with local Qatari knowledge company Strategic Technical Services (STS) to provide through-life support services.
Having delivered more than 150 state-of-the-art ships and boats to 22 countries on 6 different continents, UZMAR is the partner of choice in the sophisticated shipbuilding domain. The company’s strong presence and experience in the world maritime industry are now being preferred by governmental projects.
UZMAR will be delivering two 32 meters LOA Emergency Response Tugboats to Turkish Coastal Safety and a 60 meter LOA Multi-Purpose Oil Spill Recovery Emergency Response Ship with fire fighting Capability to Kuwait Oil Company. By doubling the capacity of its production facilities during the pandemic last year, UZMAR is expanding its product range by adding more customized vessels, which will meet the requirements of the governmental projects.
